April 29 - Community Service Portfolio due

Community Service is making a difference in our community by helping someone in need. The community service requirement for STEP is a minimum of 10 hours. Examples of community service:
  • Provide child care at Vine Maple Place
  • Coach a kid's soccer team
  • Help an elderly neighbor by doing yard work 
  • Volunteer at Goodwill or the food bank
  • Volunteer at Serenity Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation

Work for family members does not meet the community service requirement.

Community Service Portfolio: Complete and submit the Community Service Portfolio using Google Classroom .

  • Reflection
  • Artifact(s)--these are usually photos of you engaged in your community service.
